Mark and I love adventure and to travel. We met overseas in Germany at Oktoberfest many years ago. Mark worked for Contiki as a Tour Driver and Eliza traveled with a friend. Since then we have done lots of traveling together and it is a massive part of our life. We knew we wanted to instill this love into our kids and include it in their upbringing. As time quickly went by and we got busy we always wondered when this fun and adventurous life we had pictured long ago was going to start.

So why not, during the pandemic in 2020 decide to sell up EVERYTHING, quit our jobs and buy a car and caravan to travel around Australia. People thought we were mad and during such uncertain times but things couldn't be clearer for us. There is not ever going to be the perfect time in life to do something. This is what we wanted, a slower, simpler, more balanced lifestyle where we get to enjoy this time with the kids while they are young and live the life we desired following our passion. We craved adventure, freedom.

We want to look back on our life and have an abundance of stories to tell and our kids to pass on all our stories.

YES!! It was scary and we had so many WTF are we doing moments, but the fear of not doing this and living the way we were was far scarier. The unknown was so exciting for us! We are now living the lifestyle we truly craved and have not been happier spending our days exploring this beautiful country with our kids.

The mornings are slow, the days are present and the nights are relaxed.
